Rosann Winn is a Singer-Songwriter, Jazz Vocalist, and Private Music Instructor based in Fort Collins, Colorado. She's been making music professionally for more than 20 years. She performs in both the acoustic folk and jazz genres and appears in many settings, from solo voice-guitar performances to small combos to lead vocalist with the 18-piece Colorado Swing Big Band. Rosann's vocal style has been described as smooth, light, and melodic. Her original songs and the jazz and acoustic music she presents share stories of love, loss, hope, faith, and belief. Rosann describes her mission as "creating, performing, and sharing music to encourage, uplift, and inspire".

Rosann has self-released three recordings on her Set It Free Music label - her debut "Looking Back", "An Acoustic Collection", and "Wish & Smile". Rosann's song "Not Alone" was included on the Fort Collins Rocks Local Music Compilation-Volume 2, "Looking Back" was featured on the Boys & Girls Club of Larimer County Compilation #1, and Rosann recorded the song "The Very Thought of You" for use in the Pathways Hospice theatre production of Tuesdays with Morrie. She was also featured on three vocal tracks for an album of swing era favorites recorded by the Colorado Swing Big Band at the University of Northern Colorado recording studios. Currently Rosann is working on writing and recording new original music.

Rosann is originally from Minnesota, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from St. Cloud State University, was a member of the Rochester, MN pop/folk duo Take 2, and sang with the Choral Arts Ensemble, a 40-voice auditioned choir. Over the past two plus decades of making music both in Minnesota and Fort Collins Rosann has shared the stage with many musicians from the classical, folk and jazz genres, and has been a featured vocalist with the Colorado Swing Big Band for the past 13 years. She was a co-leader of the contemporary worship band at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church in Fort Collins for 10 years and continues there as a member and musician.

Rosann received a Master of Arts in Management from St. Mary's University of Minnesota and has experience in music and arts administration, including grant writing, sponsorship, fundraising, publicity, and marketing. She served as a board member and sponsorship committee lead for the Fort Collins Musicians Association and the FoCoMX Festival for 4 years and has enjoyed playing the festival as a musician many times.

Rosann currently teaches private music lessons in voice, guitar, piano, ukulele, and performance technique. She is also the owner of Fort Collins Gift Baskets, a custom & gourmet gift basket business. 

Additionally, Rosann is a volunteer and advocate with the Arthritis Foundation, having served on many committees for events including the National Juvenile Arthritis Conference, Denver Arthritis Walk, Northern Colorado Jingle Bell Run, Parent to Parent Juvenile Arthritis Support Group, JA Camp, JA Teen Retreat, and Colorado Arthritis Advocacy Committee. Rosann and her family have visited Washington, D.C. several times to discuss their story of managing juvenile arthritis with members of Congress.

Rosann is currently booking performances in Fort Collins and the surrounding region as a solo, duo and combo group artist performing an eclectic blend of original folk, jazz standards, and acoustic music. She can book as Rosann Winn, Rosann Winn Duo or Jazz Duo, and Rosann Winn Band or Jazz Project. She also continues to perform as a featured vocalist with the Colorado Swing Big Band, the Colorado Swing Cats, and the Choice City Jazz Band.
